Presentation Skills Masterclass

Many of us are required to deliver presentations or pitches to clients or investors as part of our roles, but few of us have had training in this area. Designed as a follow on from the Communication masterclass, this workshop is for those who need to develop skills in speaking to audiences, including delivering formal presentations, pitches, and public speaking.

You will work with a theatre director on your own pitch or presentation, applying similar techniques to those used in a theatre rehearsal process, considering structure and how to present your content in a compelling way. You will be asked to come with a pre-prepared 2-minute presentation to work on throughout the day.

This workshop includes:

• Use of voice and body language in presentations and pitches

• Applying the science of persuasion to the delivery of your content

• Stagecraft and use of visual aids, and avoiding ‘death-by-PowerPoint’

• Practising your presentation on a stage and with an audience

• Personalised feedback and coaching

The schedule of the event is as follows:

• Registration - 9.15am

• Morning session – 9.30am to 12.30pm

• Lunch break – 12.30pm to 1.30pm

• Afternoon Session – 1.30pm to 5.00pm

Refreshments will be provided but lunch is not included.
